Our dining experience at Armstrong’s starts in the morning for breakfast, moving to mid-morning coffee or tea with cakes, then take on lunch or indeed a quick snack, see the afternoon through with a traditional tea and scones plus cakes if you prefer and lastly select from our new evening menu at the end of the day.
We are not the purveyors of fast food but great food, menus to satisfy everyone from our light snacks to our main evening menu not forgetting the daily specials board and ice creams.
Using as many fresh ingredients as possible and locally sourced where we can, time is taken preparing everything for our customer’s satisfaction.
Modern, contemporary, traditional food a little of each is what you get from the chef’s at Armstrong’s something to suit all diners. If you have not had fish & chips for years then Armstrong's is the place to come.
Our staff takes great pride in catering for any dietary requirements and are always willing to change or adapt dishes to suit, a special gluten free menu is available as well.
Dine in a relax modern setting watching the sea roll in, arrive hungry and in anticipation, leave chilled out and content.

Eating Intolerances

Armstrong’s is a firm believer in creating a dining experience where those with eating intolerances can feel safe in the knowledge that they will be looked after.
The majority of our menu is either Gluten Free or can be adapted and we are delighted to be able to help any customers suffering from food intolerance’s to make informed choices in their menu selections.
Over the last few years we have worked very closely with the Colchester Coeliac Society hosting several tasting events and catering for their Annual General Meeting.
Latterly we have been added to the website Gluten Free Dining which locates and promotes restaurants throughout the country a must have site all Coeliacs. Click on the logo to find Restaurants near you or where you are travelling to.
